We usually run a variety of projects, such as nature experience activities for children, training camps for volunteers, and eco tours for adults, with the idea of doing so in a way that does not interfere with nature as much as possible. For this reason, the staff of the nature school may be able to provide various explanations to those using the campsite, so please bear with us. The campsite is located behind the school building, surrounded by fir trees and white birches. There is also a stream just behind it that is about as deep as an adult's calf (in normal times). Although fishing and swimming are not allowed here, it is a beautiful mountain stream where even small children can safely touch the water. There is also a bungalow adjacent to the site, so it's safe for those who don't want to stay in a tent. There is a staff office in the adjacent school building, but the campsite is reserved for one group per day, so it's full of privacy! You can also use the gymnasium, cafeteria, and other rooms in the school building. (If you would like to be sure to use a room in the school building, please contact us in advance.) There are no commercial facilities within walking distance, and there are no large supermarkets in the town. It may not be "convenient", but it is only a 15-minute drive from the area, which is rich in nature including forests, rivers, mountains, and the sea, including the natural monument ``Kasai Beech Forest,'' hot springs in Suttsu Town and Kuromatsunai Town, and various facilities within the town. We can also introduce recommended points in the town that are highly recommended by our staff, such as delicious bakeries, cafes, and shops in the town! Daily work of nature school staff. You can join the staff in feeding the cute Cocketts chickens, taking them for a walk, checking for eggs, and chopping wood. Enjoy a moment surrounded by nature in the idyllic "Beech Forest". *Depending on the day, participants in nature school projects may come in and out of the school building. Please note that the campground area is reserved exclusively and there may be visitors in the school building.
