ScheduleLanterns illuminate both banks of the Dotonbori River walkway from July 1 to August 31, 2026, with a record 2,080 lanterns marking Dotonbori's 400th anniversary, including about 1,000 bearing the names of fans' favorites. An opening lighting ceremony is held at 7 p.m. on July 1.
