ScheduleThe shrine festival of Shimokitazawa, held September 5-6, 2026 and famous for its great liveliness every year. About 20 large and small mikoshi from eight neighborhoods make an impressive joint procession down Chazawa-dori before entering the shrine, after which each area carries its own mikoshi until around 8 pm, while stalls run by local residents line the shrine grounds.
