ScheduleBased on the legend that the lid of hell's cauldron opens in Jigokudani and King Enma appears with his demons, this is Noboribetsu's largest festival, held August 29-30, 2026. The demon mikoshi carried by junior high students, taiko drumming, a demon dance everyone can join, and a giant mechanical King Enma float parade down Gokuraku Street, which closes with fireworks on the final night.
