ScheduleA traditional festival dating back to the Edo period, famous for gorgeous dashi floats carrying mechanical karakuri puppets, designated a tangible folk cultural property of the city. From October 11-12, 2026 the floats parade through town, and at night children dance atop them while spectacular tezutsu and ozutsu hand-held fireworks are fired.
