ScheduleA three-day festival begun in 1975 as a horse-themed event, running August 28-30 with a variety of attractions. On the final day, the Uma-Nebuta Parade takes place, followed at night by the Nitta Fire Festival, in which the horse nebuta are set aflame to send off the spirits of horses that served in land reclamation.
