HIMENOYU MOTHER. This is a small camp field located in Satoyama. We have set up a plot site where the garden and the mountain connect. Mainly used by solos and duos. At most, we only operate 3 to 4 groups per day. This is not a wide open campsite. Suitable for those who want to spend a quiet time. Deer appear depending on the season, and on clear nights you can see the stars. From spring to early summer, you can hear the sounds of frogs. Location Himenoyu, Izu City, central part of the Izu Peninsula. About 20 minutes by car from Shuzenji. About 2 hours from Tokyo. Using this location as your base, you can travel to the north, south, east, and west of Izu. Some people stay for several nights and use it as a base for sightseeing. About the facility - Separated site (no cars allowed) - Toilet in the administration building (available at night) - Mini kitchen with hot water available - Private natural hot spring (once a night, timed) - Morning bath optional Sites are approximately 12 meters apart. Administration building This is an old mountain lodge that has been renovated and has a cafe, shop, and hot springs. Firewood, smoked products, camping gear, and original products are available for sale. During the day, customers using the cafe come and go. Surroundings Omi River is 3 minutes walk away. The mountain behind is Mt. Konpira. It is a satoyama environment typical of Izu. You can see the camp details on Instagram @himenoyu_mother.

●By car Approximately 40 minutes by car from Tomei Expressway Numazu Interchange or Shin-Tomei Expressway Nagaizumi Interchange. From the above interchange, take Izu Jukan Expressway (free) → Izu Chuo Expressway (as of April 2023, 200 yen for regular cars, 150 yen for light cars) → Get off at Ohito and turn right towards Shuzenji. After passing Cainz, there is a T-junction. Turn left towards the red bridge. After passing Izu-Hakone Railway Shuzenji-mae, you will enter the mountain road from here. The road has many curves, but during the day there is a lot of traffic and the speed is fast, with only one lane on each side. Follow the road for about 15 minutes. There is a Komeri (home center) 7-Eleven on the left. This 7-Eleven is the last convenience store on the left in the direction of travel. As you continue along the road, Super Kadoike will be on your left. Go straight and you will see Lawson on the right, then go straight at the traffic light. Turn right at the next traffic light (there is a right turn lane), and after turning right, there is a shop on the right side called ``Izu Omi no Sato Kitaraku'' where you can purchase local products. Continue straight along the road. When you cross the second bridge, you will see an egg vending shop and a bakery on the right. Turn right at the alley ahead and go straight. Please be careful as there are many deer around this area at night. Walk straight for about 5 minutes and you will see the Himeno Yukami bus stop on your right. Turn right at the bus stop alley, cross the bridge, go to the T-junction and go left about 500 meters. HIMENOYU MOTHER. will be on the right. Due to landscape regulations, we do not have large signboards. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary house, but since it is a former mountain villa, you will be able to tell right away. ●For those coming by train - Get off at Mishima Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen → Transfer to Izu Hakone Railway and get off at Shuzenji Station. Look for the bus bound for Himenoyu. It's about a 5 minute walk after getting off at Himeno Yukami. ・There are only a few buses a day. It takes about 20 minutes by taxi from Shuzenji Station.
