  • Kitchen / water: FBR is an off-grid camping site located at the foot of Mt. Rokko that is limited to 6 groups per day for solos and duos. A total of 12 sites full of nature and privacy. The rice terraces have been cultivated to the bare minimum with an emphasis on landscape protection. It is a quiet broad-leaved forest where the chirping of wild birds echoes, making full use of the blessings of nature such as fallen branches and fallen trees, creating an environment where you can freely enjoy bushcraft. There is no electricity or water. This is an ecological camping site that is considerate of the natural environment. Even though it may be a little inconvenient, we offer it as a place where you can become one with nature. Please refrain from visiting if you are looking for clean facilities and equipment. ◯Equipment ・Parking lot 7 cars in the first parking lot (currently 4 cars are backed out) 3 cars can be parked in the second parking lot ・Permanent composting toilets (large and small) A manual bio-toilet that returns to the soil. Please read the instructions inside the toilet carefully before using it. We have alcohol disinfection available, so Wipe it clean after it gets dirty. ・3 20L water tanks filled with Rokko spring water installed Please use it for hand washing, face washing, tooth brushing, etc. You can also boil it and drink it. Please conserve water as much as possible. Please bring extra drinking water. (Mineral water available for sale) [Confirmation/Notes] ⚠️There are no auto sites where you can park alongside your vehicle. There is a gentle staircase with a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 50 steps from the parking lot to each site. (Backpack equipment recommended) ⚠️Site size limits apply. The depth of each site is 2 to 4 m. Please check the size of the tent/tarp you will bring before arriving. There are also 3 slightly wider duo sites. If there is space, you can use the duo site even if you are solo, so please contact us. ⚠️There is no water source. There is no Kitchen or shower building. We would appreciate it if you could take measures such as pouring hot water over the dishes and wiping them with tissues, or taking them home to wash them. If you would like to take a bath, Arima Onsen is 15 minutes away by car, so please feel free to use it. ⚠️FBR maintains the natural environment. Cutting or damaging living trees and plants is strictly prohibited. When stepping outside of maintained mountain trails, stairs, and sites, please be careful of growing plants. You are free to use fallen trees and branches. You may use them for bonfires, but we ask that you donate 500 yen for environmental protection. We have dry firewood (500 yen per pail) available. We would appreciate it if you could mainly use this as much as possible when holding a bonfire. ⚠️ Open fire possible [Caution] If you wish to light an open fire, please be sure to notify the manager in advance. This is only for those who have experience with open fires and understand the basics. For those who will be using the site later, we will only accept campers who can clean up after themselves without leaving any charcoal and leave no trace. ⚠️Please take all trash home with you. There is a drum can disposal site near the toilet for the charcoal after the fire is made, so please use it. ⚠️Please be considerate of other customers after 10pm. ⚠️Disclaimer Natural disasters, accidents, injuries, etc. We are not responsible for any troubles between customers or vehicles on the premises. Please manage yourself and be responsible. If you cannot follow the above rules, Usage may be restricted in the future. We hope that everyone will follow the rules and etiquette, and that this will be a comfortable place for everyone to use comfortably. The gates will open approximately 10 minutes before check-in and we will be waiting for you. Please enter by 17:00. Please be sure to contact us if your check-in will be delayed.
